To fully explore and make use of the rich marine biological resources of
the South China Sea, we plan to cooperate with Hainan Institute of Medicine,
with the study results of marine medicine, health food and the advantages of
human resources, technology and land resources, to jointly build Marine
biological pharmaceutical food experimental base of Hainan. This project
locates in Road 1, Yaogu of High and New Technology Development Zone, including
factory and related facilities, with a total construction area of about 4320
square meters, and the total investment is about 30 million yuan. This project
will make a stage for the development of marine resource to combine scientific
research and industrial development of Hainan Province. It will specially gain a
3-year fund by 5 million a year by the Hainan Provincial Department of Science
and Technology.
